Mark G. Adler

With 20 years of experience handling personal injury and worker's compensation matters in trial and appellate courts, Mark G. Adler has helped victims gain financial security after devastating injuries. His expertise has resulted in settlements and verdicts for thousands of clients statewide—from Chicago to Carbondale—in individual, class action, and multi-district litigation suits.

Mr. Adler is a member of the Federal Trial Bar, American Trial Lawyers Association, Illinois State Bar Association, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. He is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois and also appears in federal court. In 1984, he graduated Phi Beta Kappa from John Marshall Law School, Chicago, where he was on the John Marshall Law Review while earning his J.D. Mr. Adler earned his B.A. from Indiana University in 1981.

Out of the courtroom, Mr. Adler can be found on another court—the basketball court. He is the past-president of a local youth sports organization for which he oversaw basketball, baseball, softball, and football programs for children and young adults. He continues to coach young baseball and basketball players and is active in local community youth organizations.

Valerie Harris Adler

Since 1991, Valerie Harris Adler has represented thousands of victims exclusively in personal injury lawsuits. Her statewide practice includes both individual cases and work on class action and multi-district litigation, including breast implant and Albuterol suits.

A well-respected attorney, Ms. Adler served on a team of Chicago trial lawyers who lobbied against the Illinois Tort Reform Act—which was eventually struck down by the Illinois Appellate Courts and declared unconstitutional.

Prior to 1991, Ms. Adler spent seven years representing defendants in such major liability matters as medical malpractice and product liability. This experience has given her a unique edge: an inside understanding of the defense's approach to a case.

Ms. Adler is licensed to practice in state and federal courts and represents clients in trial and appellate courts. She is a member of the Federal Trial Bar, the Illinois State Bar Association, and the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association. After graduating from Illinois State University, she earned her J.D. from Loyola University School of Law, in 1984, where she was on the Loyola Law Review.

Ms. Adler was a founding director of her local school district's education foundation and is an active participant in various local education and community initiatives.
